Under Hood Black
« on: June 01, 2011, 03:08:59 PM »
How much of the hood is painted black on the under side?  Mine had been painted once and the black seems to stop at the top (latch) cross-member.  Other pictures I have seen have black continuing over the cross-member leaving body color only on the side edge and the under side of the front edge.  That seems to be right. Let me know if it is.

Thanks   :icon_salut:

What you said seems to be correct is what is correct.  Alot of cars have the front area under the hood painted because someone didn't take the time to mask it off and got overspray in that area painting the bottom of the front lip on the hood.
