4 speed shifter finishes
« on: May 24, 2010, 02:31:12 PM »
Does anyone know what the finishes should be for the shifter, shift rods, etc. etc?
Most of theses parts could be gray phosphate, but I'm not sure.
Thanks for any help!

I will post pics of all the parts this week for reference.

Enclosed are a couple of pics of my orig. 4 speed shifter and linkage. These were removed in 1969 when I installed a Hurst shifter. They have been in a box for the past 41 years.
The handle was chrome, the shift mech. appears to be grey phosphate, and the rods were grey also, the trans attachments appear to be semi black.
