Brian Stone and the Charlotte Autofair
« on: April 14, 2010, 06:54:43 AM »
I thought I'd let everyone know that Mr. Stone's 65 GS won an AACA senior award this past weekend at the Charlotte Autofair.
His 66 Skylark won it's 3rd preservation award, and was also photographed for Hemmings Classic Cars Magazine. His 65 GS was
photographed for a future issue of Hemming Muscle Machines. Quite a weekend for Brian - congratulations!

Congratulations Brian! :occasion14:
I remember the progress pics you had on your website years ago. Your 65 sure has come a LONG way since you started the resto years ago. That was quite an effort. Well done!

The pictures don't due either car justice.  I have seen them all in person and they are immaculate.  The picture of the 65' before the resto. makes it look pretty good.  I have seen what it took to restore and I was amazed.  Brian is a great guy and he last told me the 65 was supposed to be in the July issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. Cant wait to see the write up.  Congratulation's again Brian.

Personally his 64 Skylark 4 speed is my favorite!
