Hey Guy,
Glad to be part of this group, I have a 65 GS convert 4-speed, which I have been restoring for the 4 years.
I had my first experience with a GS in High School when my buddy went to college and told me to sell his car, for some reason that took a long time, probably because a drove it some much it was never in one spot long enough to see.
I bought this GS in 93 just to drive and do burnouts, it wasn't until I had the car for a while I realized how rare it was.
The car came with a 63 nail head when I bought it but soon the block had a crack in it, the car had a muncie 4 speed, but also came with a BW T-10.
I put a 455 in it and drove it that way until I started the restoration, I am planning on putting in the correct year LR and the T-10 back in later.
Looking foreward to talking to you guys
Jay
