Hi Chris, I decided to quit lurking and join.  I know my car is a year to early, but I enjoy the 65's too. Hoping I might add some info. for you guys.  I have been doing alot of research on the 64 cars particularly the 4 speed cars and I know they share alot.  I have a list of all the upc codes for the 64 car options and most options with the production breakdown.

Howdy Mark and welcome to the club!

We have several members with 64's and 66's and others with no Buick's yet, but admirers of the 64 - 66 Buick A-Bodies.

Hope to see you post your questions and jump in to help anyone out if you have the answer.

Howdy Mark!

I've got a 64 also, currently working on getting a 65, and have missed my chance at a 65 GS a couple of times so far.

Where abouts are you located?

Thanks Chris,  Have you repoped any more new parts for the 64-65 cars?  I just found and upgrade for the console I bought from you a few years back. Man are they tough to find.

Hi David, I am in Franklin, N.C.  (Far Western part of the state).  Hope you find the 65' you want.

Glad you decided to join us Mark! :occasion14:
I've been paying more and more attention to the 64's lately. I wouldn't mind picking one up if the right one came along.  :glasses9:
IIRC, you have the thread on V8 about the 64 clutch linkages and 4 speed components? That is great info! Some GTO guys may be repo'ing the early clutch rod boot. Maybe the 64 uses the same one.

Mark,

Things have been tighter than normal when it comes to money, like most of the rest of the country, investments have taken a hit and we are trying to keep as much in reserve as possible in case things turn for the worse.  I've slowed down on taking on anymore parts projects but have had my eyes open for a couple others that I think are really needed.

It's great to hear that the console turned out so nice for you, it sounds like it went to a great home and your car is benefiting from it.

Did you see there is a fellow on here (gssizzler) is selling the Z bar four speed nylon bushings?

Several of us bought these and they are really good parts.

I'm needing one of those reproduction linkages from the GTO guys for the four speed post that I recently bought in Ohio, so anyone with any experiences with these, please let me know?
