Hello,

I just picked up a cast iron 4bbl manifold from a '71 350 for my '68 motor. Now I just need a carb. Anything gathering dust on your shelves out there - preferably with an electric choke???

Thanks!

Rick, I have a couple of miscellaneous AFBs laying around.  Both in nice shape.  I'll bet the 68 runs Quadrajet, right?  I've got one of those as well, but from a 70's car.

Hi again!

I'll keep you posted. Another buddy may have come through with a free Q-jet. If not, I'll be sure to let you know.

Thanks!!!

Dear Rick and mid-60s Buick caregivers on a budget,

I'll keep you posted. Another buddy may have come through with a free Q-jet. If not, I'll be sure to let you know.

The Quadrajet is one of the best designed carburetors that ever existed, so that should make your car happy, and you can't beat free!  :laughing7:

Let us know!

Cheers, Edouard

Just make sure you have the correct intake manifold for it.  AFB = Square bore, Q-Jet = Spread bore.  Some aftermarket manifolds have provisions for both.

Thanks!
