Dear Chuck and mid-60s Buick seekers of good automotive "health care," . . . .  :laughing7:

These frame pads and the motor mounts are all sold by an eBay seller with the handle: goat_doc

. . . I wonder if he really is a "goat doctor," and if so, would he be willing to work on my "Billy goat" wagon! . . . . .

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

Hey Edouard,

I know that your "Billy Goat" needs some diagnosis and repair.  But I think you need to find a more suitable specialist.  I bet the goat doctor specializes in those Pontiac goats called GTO.  While cousins to Biquette, they have different innards, so you'd best stay with a bird doctor to diagnose and repair Biquette.  After all, birds can be more delicate than goats, but when in good health, can soar above their cousins.  So say the "old guys" around here with stories of their GS Skylarks eating GTOs back in the day......I would love to have seen that!

That's my metaphor and I'm sticking to it.   :icon_biggrin:

Enjoy a great weekend!

 :cheers2:

Dear Chuck and mid-60s Buick members of the "car guy" culture.

I know that your "Billy Goat" needs some diagnosis and repair.  But I think you need to find a more suitable specialist.

In the voice of that eminent loudmouth Foghorn Leghorn:

. . . . That's a joke son, gag that is! . . .

I bet the goat doctor specializes in those Pontiac goats called GTO.

However, I had at least forgotten that GTOs had acquired the nickname goats.  That's good to know - so thanks for the pointer!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

Yes, that is a joke, indeed!

I'm intimately familiar with the GTO "goat" culture since working with my painter who is currently restoring a 68 GTO for himself.  And owns a 65 GTO and numerous other Pontiacs.  The only "outlaws" in his family of classics are a 67 Corvair and a 63 Riviera.  So at least he's a little bit familiar with Buicks.

Yes. the guy specializes in GTO's. He beat me to a 64 Rivi a few years ago and I asked him WHY? a Poncho guy would want a Rivi...his reply ~ "CUZ HE CAN MAKE MONEY" on Rivi stuff. He also bought a 71 Lark. Was parting stuff like rusty Doors for $1000 each... and a "slightly cracked but restorable dash pad" for $275... he's often on cragslist...  GOATDOC is somewhere around Tampa/Brandon area, about 30 minutes east of me....
