There was a 4 speed 65 on the Portland Craigslist a few weeks ago.... do you know of it?
Plugging this into Google gave a few hits:
1965 GS site:craigslist.org
There's a nice red 65 in Vermont for 15k, and a project in San Fran for 5k.
A guy near me has 3 GS project cars (2 are 4 speed cars) and a 'lark parts car for 15k..... that would be tough to ship to you!
I see very few '66 GS's coming up for sale.... I bet Jimmy is buying them all!

the red 65 4 speed in portland that was on craigslist is a gorgeous car needing absolutely nothing and it's $31,000 which is a bit out of my range..  66 is my absolute fav year and i rarely see them up for sale in good shape.  i'd even take a very nice 66 skylark or special.

Very nice red 65 GS on Ebay. Restored, auto, A/C, and it looks really nice. I book marked it because it is the first GS I have seen in years that made me start thinking of how I could raise the cash. If it is as nice as it looks in pictures it would be my dream car. $24,000 BIN. I wonder if the wife would mind if I took out a second on the house?

Nice example, looks pretty good. Saw a couple of things that need attention or are not exactly correct.
But still a very nice car.
