John, we used to go to the one in South Sioux City, N? too, also a good one.

The one that was in South Sioux City was a good one, went may years. You could cut the smoke with a knife and the circle trackers had a beer for breakfast.

The Lincoln one, I have seen 50 degrees and drove my old car, or below zero and ice and wind, but a nice time and the only swap meet around here that I have seen growing. For the past few years Loren and I have been meeting there and walking the meet, we always have a good time and good company.

Lincoln, NE Swap Meet report:

I drove up to Loren's home in Firth, NE on Saturday. Had a wonderful time with Loren discussing Buicks and Roxy cooked up some steaks for dinner. Great hosts! I drove Loren the 30 miles to Lincoln and met up with Bill, aka GS Spoken Here. It was a large meet with a lot of looking and walking. We had to keep an eye on Loren as he had limited vision in his left eye. Unfortunately, we did not find any '65 GS parts, as expected. We each picked up some small tools and doodads. But it was good to be with like minded Buick nuts for the day. We ended up at Cracker Barrel for lunch with Roxy. This is the first swap meet of the year and has become an annual trip for us. Our next gathering will be May 7th in Minnesota for the annual Buick Extravaganza Swap Meet and Show.
