Tail lights reconditioned. Who can I send them to??

I just picked up a set of spare tail lights. They are in good shape. lenses are nice, no scratches or cracks.
The chrome has some pitting, especially in the center bar.
I would like to disassemble them and sent the faces out to be reconditioned. Along with the medallion.
Who specializes in this process?

Sounds like your tail lights are typical of what's available these days.  There are any number of chrome shops that can rechrome both the pot metal center bars and the steel housings.  Some are better than others, some are more expensive than others, ALL are very expensive.  I'm familiar with a few here in the Midwest.  Others probably have some experience in your area.

The medallion is not typically restored because the emblem is coated in clear plastic.  You might find someone that has successfully disassembled the emblem from the steel housing so that the housing can be rechromed.  Do a search; I think I remember a thread on trying this approach.

There is a recommendation for a different chromer, and also info on the correct black paint.

As for the silver on the tail lights, you will want to use Krylon "Dull Aluminum."
