Hi I have a guy that wants to sell me a 72 Centurion. It has a rebuilt 455 stage 1 3 spd auto. Body is partly dismantled . Is has little rust. Missing front windshield . He all parts are there . But hard to tell with them sitting in boxes. What do you think would be a fair price.

Good question...? I guess if you sum up the parts it would give you a good idea of what you could recoup if you had to. That is an oddball car and its rarity does not necessarily increase its popularity in the collector market. If it is something that you are considering restoring yourself, that may be something to consider. Those cars do have a following as far as collectibles, but I would want to stay below the $3000 range even if it is very solid and complete.

That is kind of my opinion . The engine is worth more to me than the body .  A rebuilt Stage 1 455 does hold some value.

What body style is it? Color combo?
I had a 72 Centurion many moons ago, my first Buick. A favorite of all the cars I've owned.
A big car that will surprise many others with the 455. Nice interior design too. Pics would be helpful.

I don't know much about this body style . I am more interested in the 455. I guess it depends if it is very partible.

They are pretty nice looking cars and you don't see that many around anymore.
