Roofrail Mouldings
« on: July 18, 2009, 05:28:00 PM »
Does anyone have any sage advice or tips for re-installing the roofrail mouldings? There was a foam type tape between the moulding and body from the factory, but this stuff flaked apart when I removed them. Is there a equivalent replacement out there, or do I just use strip caulk? There was also some type of grey, pliable sealer between the a-pillar moulding and body which was pretty dried up, so I cleaned it all off. I assume strip caulk is the answer there too.

The holes drilled in the body are so far off that there shouldn't be too much trouble realigning them with the locators in the mouldings.

Help - THANKS!

I think Year One or OPG have what you are looking for.  If not check some of the other parts sources.  I have seen it before.  If you cannot locate it, I will check on it
