My 65gs is just one joy after another getting it on the road!
Latest issue is the starter pinion and flywheel. I started the engine a few times and it sounded real good and strong. Then, I could not get the pinion to engage the ring gear. I took off the flywheel dust cover and found all the pieces of what used to be the pinion gear laying in the bottom of the pan. I also see that there are 4 teeth knocked off the ring gear. I can get a new pinion, but I need a flywheel.
Anyone out there have an extra flywheel that I could buy?
