1965 Sportwagon.

Hi Everybody,

Relatively new to this site, but not new to '65 Buicks, grew up with one, and have this beauty since about 2000.  It's a California little old granny car; I think I'm the third owner.  Lots of fun.
Steve.

It's missing just - one - thing! (Re: 1965 Sportwagon.)

Dear Steve and mid-60s Buick longroof fans!

Relatively new to this site, but not new to '65 Buicks, grew up with one, and have this beauty since about 2000.  It's a California little old granny car; I think I'm the third owner.  Lots of fun.

Thanks for sharing!   We cannot have enough longroofs on this forum!   :hello2:

There is just one small thing wrong with it .. . . . It needs a big-block Buick engine!!!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

P.S. Of course a 200-4R, electronic fuel injection, Bluetooth stereo, etc. etc., etc. . . . . wouldn't hurt either! . . .

Dear Steve and fans of mid-60s Buicks from . . . way . . . back!

Relatively new to this site, but not new to '65 Buicks, grew up with one.

I wanted to ask you about this because I too grew up with a 1965 Buick and its the wagon that is still in the family.  Here is a picture taken when I was 7 years old:

Do you have any memories of growing up with your Buick that you would be willing to share?

Cheers, Edouard

My dad was a Ford guy so the 65 I grew up with was a 65 Galaxie 500 2 door hardtop, red with black vinyl top. When I turned 15 I bought my first car, a 66 GS.
