rear courtesy lamp lenses

Does anyone know what the correct courtesy lamp lenses are suppose to look like ?
I,m seeing 2 types , one is smooth and some have 3 rings on them .  These are for a 2dr hd top .

WOW!  So exactly how did you guys figure out that a part for 1955 classic Chevy hardtop or a 1955-1957 Nomad was still being used by Buick around 10 years later?

I have a good friend with a photographic memory that knows thousands of GM parts and parts interchange off the top of his head.
These lenses were also used on 55-57 Pontiac Safari wagons and some early 60s Chev 9 passenger wagons.
