When a bid is less than the reserve the amount shown is just enough to beat the next highest bidder. The $23+ met the reserve so his previous bid was shown at it highest amount. When he withdrew that bid the lower bid dropped to just enough to beat the next highest bidder. Probably not stating it very well but ....

Seems the new reserve is $19,848 and the high bidder is not the person that withdrew their bid. Ah, the intrigue.

Sold for $20,548. That's not too bad for a car with these options.

I met  the couple that had the high bid till the last 5 seconds of this auction on this car at a local cruise night this week.  I was routing for them. right now they have a 65 skylark convertible that they where planing on cloning. Could be they out bid each other????

 Motor Trend remarked that its 12.3 mpg in city driving was "not bad at all." and a lot of FUN!!!
