sandblasting a frame that's been powder coated

Hey all . Has anyone tried to sandblast or have someone sandblast a frame that has been powder coated ?

I'd suggest some harsh chemical aircraft stripper to loosen the polymer binder before sandblasting.

Place here in town does it all the time.  Industrial size blast setup and they use garnet for the media.
