I cleaned what was left of the silver off the park light lens with water down purple power and some fine steel wool What is the best brand an what gloss of silver to use to repaint, thanks Bill.

Best match for most of the silver trim on these cars is Krylon dull aluminum, although there are probably other
brands that have something equivalent.

Or, fire a check off to Chris for some brand new lenses already painted up - just screw them on.

We use a silver aluminum colored spray paint on our lenses and they look pretty good.  When you use a dull / flat paint, it will shine more than you might think on the visible side because the plastic has reflective properties.  I have plenty of lenses in stock now if you decide to buy your girl some new jewelry.  :D
