65 buick skylark / gs taillight lenses

Does anyone know if the taillight lenses are different between a skylark to a GS ?  I picked one up but it doesn't look right , it's even in a GM box . Just wondering if it's a aftermarket lense made by someone else and was put in a GM box .

They are the same between a Skylark and a Skylark Gran Sport. If you can, posting a picture would help.

It appears that the pattern on the inside of the plastic is different .

hmmm. Im only guessing here but ..I dont see any HOLES for the center trim piece either... perhaps that is a lense for a "Buick special" with a single lense on each side???   :icon_scratch:
I've never had a "SPECIAL" so again, I am just guessing...

Yeah I think your right , it must be for a special . The shape is right but it is definitely different than the GS lense .

Yes it is for a Special just had mine apart tonight. If you need to get rid of it just PM me. Could always use a spare if you have  no use for it.

Looked up the part number in my Buick parts.

It is definitely for a Special , NOT a Skylark.
