Let the assembly begin
« on: January 24, 2015, 09:57:39 AM »
A few shots of my 66 frame after it is back from the power coater. Nice job, but the frame was not perfect, no rust but this car has been down every goat path in north eastern MT. Will need to hold off on the assembly until the weather is slightly warmer. First I was going to set in the sun and try to use Eastwood internal frame coating in black on the inside. Then I can start assembly.

Oh man, that all looks awesome. I used the Eastwood internal frame spray as well. Did it in the garage in the winter but turned up the heater and set several space heaters around the frame. Seemed to go on ok. I see they have a black spray now instead of just the puke green one. I've also been using it on the internal parts of the body. I'm sure you know this but you will need to tape up all the holes and even then it will find a way out. Might have over sprayed but I think I ended up using 5 cans to the do the entire frame.
