Hello from Denmark
« on: October 10, 2014, 05:39:26 PM »
Hello,
my name is Jens Pedersen and I come from Denmark in Europe. I'm 37 years old and have a big passion for 1965 Skylark and 1965 Skylark GS. In my opinion it's one of the most beautyful cars ever build.
I'm looking for a nice 65' Skylark or GS but I'm not in a rush. Did buy a 1965 Skylark from Arizona 4 years ago but sold it Again to Sweden. Also had a 1965 4 door Skylark 10 years ago but sold it because it was too rusty. The last one was a typical Danish car which was sold new in Denmark in 1965 -not many of those cars have survived the Danish climate.
Well, I'm really enjoying this site and I'm reading a lot of the posts with great interest. It's truly amazing that this site exists and I want to thank you all for all the great posts which I really have learned a lot from.
Kind regards to all of you 1965 Skylark GS fans:-)

Jens

Welcome Jens. Jan Laursen in Aalborg may be able to help you locate a car in Denmark. He is a member of this forum. Best of luck in your search.

Thanks for the welcome:-). I know Jan Laursen in Aalborg and I have seen his gorgeous 65 GS. I live in Copenhagen, so unfortunately we are not neighbours (400km between us) -that would have been cool. Jan has also tried to help me find a 65 Skylark/GS and I really appreciate his help:-).

Welcome Jens!   :occasion14:  You've definitely come to the right place for these cars.   :cheers2:

I think Jan has recently sold his gorgeous 65 GS.

I have been pondering selling my car lately, except every time I drive it, that thought goes away.  :icon_biggrin:

Hi Tom, thank you for the warm welcome:-).
I'm almost also sure Jan has sold his fantastic GS. I took a look at it in the spring, but I didn't buy it. But it sure was a fine car.

I also had a crush on your Brown GS with Black vinyl roof and Automatic which you have sold. I was very close calling you when you had it for sale, but the shipping expenses talked me out of it. Thought it looked so bad (in a positive way!) and I also liked the patina. Hope it went to a good home now:-)
