Pot Metal rechrome shop?
« on: October 18, 2012, 08:10:37 PM »
Anyone have a chrome shop to recommend?  I need a console tach housing rechromed.  I want a show quality job - I even want them to re-tap the threads.  Thanks

I only use Paul's Chrome Plating in  Evans City PA. www.paulschrome.com  There work is best, I never ever had a problem with any of the pot metal that they worked on. Prepare to pay for it. the best does not come cheap...

I know that pot metal is a tough thing to plate correctly but does anyone have someone they trust to go along with Paul's? Just looking for alternatives.

Thanks,
Fred Z.

If you are located in the upper midwest http://www.thechromeshopinc.com in Menasha, WI does truly great work. They do all the chrome and metal polishing for Motion Products, Inc which does 400 point Ferrari restorations. Again, not inexpensive, but not outrageous either.

JR Custom Plating in North Branch, MN. They are familiar with 65 parts..... :occasion14:. Great work. Mirror finish. They also do trim work.
