Convertible arm rest bases

Has anyone had any luck finding the arm rest bases for a convertible GS  or having them reconditioned?

The arm rest bases, or the plastic chrome bases can be flipped upside down and switched from left side to right side. Usually the bottom of the bases receive little or no wear and look like new. However, if they are broken or worn on the bottom side as well, they can be found used at salvage yards or on EBay. Those bases were also used on 4 door Skylarks that had the Deluxe Interior Trim.  Take note that the convertibles and hardtops had a 14" long base while the post cars had an 11" long base. Mr.Gs Plastic Chrome can fix and rechrome your old ones if needed.   http://mrgusa.com/
Here's a thread from earlier this year about the same topic.

I know this subject has been discussed several times but I have hit a brick wall. I need to get the arm rest bases on my convertible re-chromed. Both sides are worn and so I contacted mrgusa and they do not have any left and they have suspended their chroming division in May and do not rechrome plastic any more. Any suggestions? Thanks

Sent mine to this place http://www.chrometechusa.com/automotive-interior-plastics.html Have not gotten them back yet but they do have a good reputation. Give them a call.

Just to heap on some praise, and revive a 4 month old thread, I received my repaired and re-chromed bases yesterday.  While not what I would call show quality, they are really nice looking.  Very pleased with the cost benefit on this purchase.
