I found this under my rear seat today.
« on: September 02, 2012, 04:15:24 PM »
I pulled my rear seat today in order to detail the interior of the car, which was filthy by the way, and I found this. It was hog ringed to the seat spring. It has some of the same info that's found on my Cowl tag.

Sweeet!  What plant was your car from ? If it's pliable try and scan it in if you can.

Those are common on '66's as well. Don't think all '65's had them.
It's the body build (broadcast) sheet from Fischer Body. It'll list the options/mods required on the main body, but won't list all the detail items like springs, sway bars, etc, etc. That info is shown in a different build sheet.... which is rarely found on the early GS's.

Good to know Walt. DL, my car was built the first week of May at the Baltimore plant. Here is a scan of the sheet. That didn't turn out well so I took a pic also.

My car is a first week of June build from Baltimore, and when I had the back seat out to install seat belts a few years ago, I looked for the build sheet but didn't find it.  It didn't look like the back seat had been out of the car, at least if it had, it was a long long time ago, based on the stuff I found under the seat!!
