This is the last time I'm listing my car for sale this year. 

If she doesn't sell, I'll put her away for the winter and re-list her in the Spring when it'll stand a better chance of selling.

So far so good and I decided to list it with a $18,500 reserve mainly due to the time of year (bad time for selling convertibles right now). 

We are getting close and it was at $14,650 the last time I checked. 

It's time for her to move onto a "new custodian" who will preserve and enjoy her for a future generation.

Thanks Tom... I really forget just how many of my Buick buddies have had a little "seat time" in my convertible.  Memories like this just make it all the harder to part with her however there is a time for everything and I'm sure she'll end up in a new and loving home soon.

UPDATE: Tonight the auction ended at $18,889 which met my reserve. 

I was contacted by the winner a couple days ago for more information on the car and we talked for a while over the phone.  He is from Omaha Nebraska and seems like a really nice guy.  I'll make sure he knows about the site and hopefully he joins the club.

He's planning on flying in and driving her home.

John seen your post and he's sending over a roll of barbwire and a pack of guard dogs to watch over his new convertible until he can come pick it up.  He also said something about setting up some land mines around it however I'm not too sure my wife will allow those in the driveway.

Has the barb wire and the land mines arrived yet? I was thinking of sending some guard dogs but didnt think they would ship well!! Cant wait to pick up the car. My wife is pry going to divorce me for having 2 65 gs verts now. Pry going to have to sell my other.

I'm paying the neighbor kid to sit on his roof with a pellet gun and be a sniper in case any Buick guys show up before you.

She has a new owner today and she's on her way to Nebraska.  John flew in this morning and is driving her the 1000 miles back home.  We spent some time going through the car and pointing out the little odds and ends that make her unique.  After a couple hours on the road, John called and told me what a nice solid driver she's turning out to be.  With a saddened heart is was hard to see them drive down the road today but I know he's passionate about his 65's and he has a family at home waiting to see "Dads new car".
