Title: Front fender emblem
Post by: Weldar on May 23, 2017, 09:23:29 PM
Took the emblem off and this was underneath. Kinda interesting to me. Still somewhat pliable and looks like conduit sealing putty. I believe this to be from original assembly.

Did you send a sample out to be radio-carbon dated?  It looks extremely old!  Why, it might date to the period before the age of - digital cameras!! . . . Worst still, . . . . it might have come from . . . . . Oak Island!! (http://www.history.com/shows/the-curse-of-oak-island)
