Title: Rear wheel bearings RW507AR
Post by: jmos4 on May 04, 2017, 07:13:54 AM
Hi all,

Was looking for a set of bearings as I misplace a set I bought last year and found new ones listed on Amazon, betting there made in China but figured I'd share.

I did managed to find the set I misplaced, in that spot I would never forget, LOL.

Out of curiosity does anyone have a old catalog that shows them along with the sizes, I  can find information about the "CR", "ER" & "GR" but nothing regarding the "AR".

Regards,

Jim,

The "R" at the end designates it comes with the retaining ring.
There was a RW507A  also made , back in the day, that was used in a Chrysler application.  I don't recall the exact one though.

When I restored our first GS, almost 30 years ago, the bearings were starting to get difficult to come up with.  I found them at a bearing warehouse  in St. Paul, MN. That was where I learned about the Chrysler bearing being the same with the exception being, the Chrysler application did not use a retainer.
