Title: Factory Buick parts and accessory manual on E bay
Post by: 35chevcoupe on February 08, 2015, 10:53:04 PM
Hey guys I'm looking at a factory Buick parts and accessory dealer manual or catalog . Was wondering if any of you guys have seen or looked at one of theses ?  It looks like it covers 1960 - 1970 and has some pretty nice exploded views .
Think it's worth the money ? He's asking 225.00

Hey John,
I have the same parts catalog and one that is 1965 only.
I use them continually, it is a great source to positively identify parts. I've found that some parts numbers are different between the single year and the '40-'70 parts books

The multi year parts book also has shown when a certain part is used in a different year.

Keep searching on the price, seems a bit high from what I have seen .

John, the 64-72 mater parts book is already online here at 65gs.com!
http://65gs.com/manuals.html (http://65gs.com/manuals.html)

You can get toe cd version on eBay for only $29:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-1967-1969-1972-Buick-Parts-Numbers-Book-CD-List-Guide-Interchange-Drawing-/151032694253?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ABuick&hash=item232a4005ed&vxp=mtr (http://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-1967-1969-1972-Buick-Parts-Numbers-Book-CD-List-Guide-Interchange-Drawing-/151032694253?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ABuick&hash=item232a4005ed&vxp=mtr)

The one you're looking at includes the Illustration Catalog which generally isn't included with most parts books. That's a nice bonus.

Thanks for letting me know that Walt .
I did make him an offer and I think he is accepting it . I kind of like having a catalog in front of me verses a cd  :read2:  it's just me I guess . ( I'm kind of old school and not the most computer savvy )
Plus I just sold a item on E bay that fetched me 4 times what I thought it would .   :icon_biggrin:
