Someone I know is looking to buy this car and wants to know if I will restore it for him anyone decode the trim tag?
-
I'll do the best that I can with this.
04B = build date of April, second week
65-44437 = 1965 Buick Skylark, 2 door hardtop
KAN = built in Kansas City
4753 = factory production number
158B = Black interior with bucket seats
C-C = Arctic White body color and top color
first group code
E = Tinted glass all windows
second group codes
K = Air conditioning
L = 4 speed transmission
C or E ??? = don't know
P = not sure at this time
third group code
H = Wide beltline trim molding
fourth group codes
F = Driver's side remote control mirror
S = Gran Sport trim
fifth group
W = Custom seat belt retractors
How's that compare with the car? Sorry, I could not tell for sure what the third letter code is in the second group. Looks like a C or E.
