Title: Red Door Panels for 65 GS/Skylark Convertable
Post by: mdkd on December 17, 2012, 10:59:31 AM
It looks like a lot of parts swapping going on right now so I thought I would throw in a request for myself.

When I got my 65 GS Convertable the previous owner had a upholstery shop shorten up the door panel stainless and cover the entire lower door panel with red carpet.

The top of the drivers side door panel has also been worn through where your arm rests with the window rolled down.

If anyone has some red door panels they would sell or trade please let me know.

I have manual windows with outside adjustable drivers mirror. I also have factory template to cut in adjustable mirror so it isn't required for my use.

I am not afraid of driving to get what I need.

Thanks for the help

Milton

Thanks Gary

I received your Red Door Panels and they were exactly like your pictures and description.

It was a nice touch to send them in a Legendary Auto shipping box.

My son installed them with my oversite to gain experience on how these older car doors go together.

They fit in perfectly with my original interior.

He also installed the speakers under the seats that had been installed in the old door panels by a hack.

In all I have a car that has made a big step back to originality and spent a great afternoon with my son.

Thanks again

Milton
