Now that I have a 4 speed GS, I am selling my other one. It's a numbers match, Florida car that I bought in late 2004. This is a running, drivable car needing restoration. I do have the original bill of sale, plus the original selling dealerships document envelope, albeit somewhat tattered. I'm sure that at least two rims are originals. I can check them all if there's interest.
I've attached two videos shot June 10, 2012. I can attach more photos later as time permits.

Additional info:
It has a current registration, and I drive it whenever possible. Last spring, the timing gears, chain, cover, and water pump were replaced. There is a pesky, very slow coolant leak that I haven't found yet, but have narrowed down the possible locations. It can be driven anywhere now, since I put four nearly new tires on it last summer.
Edit: I have fixed that coolant leak by using two O-rings between the water manifold and the timing cover. Took it for a 50 miles drive today, Sept 8, 2013 with no problems. I am now using it as my daily driver until it either sells, or the snow arrives. :icon_biggrin:
The frame rails have absolutely no rust! Floor and trunk pans are solid, although the trunk pan shows evidence of a previous repair. Front fenders are solid, quarter panels need work. There appears to be rust under the vinyl top, and likely elsewhere on the roof and C pillars. Both bumpers are solid, with no tweaks, dents or bends. Both tail light bezels are in excellent condition, the right side has virtually no pitting.
Absolute bottom dollar price is now $4750.00 US. Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. If it doesn't sell, I may consider selling some parts off it, such as the almost perfect wheel well moldings.

Here's a video of me driving the car, about 3 minutes long.

Just realized that I haven't updated this for some time, D'oh :tard: I now have four very good used tires to go with the car. There's also a local buyer who has expressed serious interest in this car. Will know more this weekend.

Good luck Tom. Who in their right mind would change a Midnight Aqua car to brown ? :dontknow: :protest:

I wish I knew for certain who made that change, but the way it is now, is the way I bought it.

In reality, the "big wood" you refer to is off my radar at this time. :icon_biggrin: For the rest of the group it was a 73 Estate Wagon located about 20 miles north of me. :hello:

The car has not officially sold yet, however, gssizzler has first dibs. Just waiting for his reply. I do have some more photos to post when I return home Saturday.
Car is in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Take I-29 north, and you'll eventually get here, well after crossing into Canada that is. :icon_biggrin:

Sounds good, just let me know. Also what is involved with bringing a car over the border ? Never done that before.
Thanks

Still working on the details ! if it was just down the street it would be in my drive way already! I like Tom, Dan, and Loren want this car to go to a good home Mine!

Replied to your PM today. The car is yours (well once it's paid for :hello:) until you say differently, which I don't expect will happen! :icon_biggrin:  :occasion14:

Please, contact Tom if you have interest in this GS! It needs to go to a good home! It would be a great car for you! I sadly have to pass at this time :crybaby2: Tom was going to bring this car down and meet me in Fargo ND. for pick-up also ! Jon

Just checking to make sure. This car is available to purchase now ? If so I would be interested in learning more about the car and what it would take to get it into the US? Thanks Much!
Tom H.
Not sure how many Tom's are on this site. :rocker:

Tom, unfortunately Jon has to pass, therefore it is still available.
I have done some checking into getting the car back into America. Seems there could be additional state requirements, but it's quite a simple process at the US border. I will be home Saturday and Sunday if you wish to discuss it on the phone.

OK That sounds great. In the meantime I'll call the DMV here in Nebraska and ask some questions. I look forward to talking with you soon.

Milton, it was great to talk with you again too! My apologies for the initial confusion about the ebay ad. :violent1: I have corrected my post with the correct auction start time.

Spring time bump with a new reduced price of $5,000.00
I have changed the wheel and tire to steel rims with much newer rubber, as i wish to retain the 14 inch road wheels.
-
Bump.
I have also decided to make this car my summer daily driver, should it not sell by May 1st. :glasses9: It would remain available though. :occasion14:
-
To the top, with a new price of $4750.00 US! :hello2: Had it out for a 50 mile drive today with absolutely no problems. I would feel comfortable driving this car anywhere now.
It's now my daily driver, until it sells, or the snow flies.

Al
I still have this car parked in my garage. Drove it for several weeks last fall before the snow began. Haven't touched it since then.
It's still available for $4,750.00 US. I simply cannot go any lower. Thinking of taking it down to the BCA show in Minneapolis May 4 with a 5 k price tag.
Thanks for asking.

TOM
Very interested in car, please send #. Have a couple questions. From the pic. you have post consider it sold!

Good luck with the sale but if it makes it to Minneapolis I am interested and will be up to look at it.

After discussing the car with 65GS Al, consider the car sold with a deposit on the way.
